Thanks for contacting Appigo. We are glad that you are enjoying Todo! The new multi-line note view allows you to see a multiple line note when editing a task, without having to tap on the note. In the older version, it only displayed the first line.
Overall, start-up and load times were improved in this update but your experience may vary. Some devices have a lot of processes happening all at once, while some might only have Todo running. This is just one reason why some users don't see a major increase in performance. We have taken note of your suggestion and have included it in our list to review for possible future features.
