I would like to suggest forcing sync when you launch and close the application. I know that it is possible to set the sync on app launch but the problem is that the sync takes over the app and it isn't possible to do anything else until the sync has completed. This has caused me to turn off this feature because it hangs the program temporarily if I am in a location with no network coverage such as the subway. It would be nice to have the sync on - for start and close - but make it so that you can still navigate the app while the sync is happening. The Toodledo and RTM apps seem to do this without any trouble so hopefully it can be done.
Other than that I would like to add in my vote for subtasks and for optional colors.
