I had changed my iPhone to a UK setting (because otherwise all
addresses are assumed to be in the USA) ... but it had the adverse
effect of making the time into a nasty 24 hour format (eg.
01:15pm !)  .... and also I see now disrupting the To Do application.

I shall leave it on a USA setting from now on.

Thanks for your prompt help.  Can't tell you how much I like this
app., and how much help it has been to me.  My most used app on the
phone !
