The original problem you described sounded more like an authorize problem
with the certificates than a crashing problem.  When the iPhone goes to
launch an application, they load a picture we provide during the
authorization phase so it appears the application is launching.  If the
application failes (it was not purchased for that devices or some error) the
app will never start and the picture that zooms up will be removed.
There still appears to be some kinks to work out in this system with Apple,
but we've found that if you turn off and back on the iPhone (all the way)
the certificates are fixed and the app will launch.

I think you'll be fine with syncing and updating the app.  Please let us
know if you continue to have problems.
