Actually repeating tasks are already there and work well, I just
didn't find them.
When defining a task press on "Repeat", and there you can define
repeat frequency and
whether it is counted from the due date of the task or the last
completion date of the task.

The authors _may_ want to make it easier to find so that people are
not stumped like we were...
