I too want to see Todo be able to use the alert features on the iPhone calendar to remind me of my time-oriented tasks, but I understand a bit of why Apple isn't allowing it yet either. Likewise, as I look at what I have on the calendar for the day in my iPhone, I would like to see my Todos integrated with my meetings.
One workaround I just discovered is a little work, but if it's important enough to you, it's possible you might do it. I started using a service called Nuevasync. http://www.nuevasync.com They allow you to synchronize your Google Calendar to the iPhone calendar over the air. Here's what I did. In Gcal, I created a new Read Only calendar from the Toodledo Ical feed. I configured Nuevasync to sync both my default calendar and my Toodledo Ical read only calendar. Now on my phone, I get all my Todo taslks as all day events in the iPhone calendar. Since it's one way, I can't screw up Toodledo or Todo, so I just click Edit on one of those time-sensitive events, and set an alert on it for 5 minutes before. It's not the easiest, and it does have a little latency in it due to fetch and refresh cycles, but hey, it's free and technically, it does work. Now all you really smart Appigo guys and gals, please put your thinking caps on and see if these ideas stir up something new that you could build that might accomplish the same thing, only better. As always, thanks for listening to us. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Learn more about Todo, Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Appigo Todo" group.
