Sounds like a great idea -- though I must admit I'm fuzzy on the details. Any chance you'd be willing to provide a more detailed example or tutorial on how you did it? The idea of being able to use an elegant GTD desktop client like Things or The Hit List instead of a more clunky, web-based service like Toodledo and RTM but still maintain OTA syncing would be awesome.
