Thanks for contacting Appigo. Appigo Sync marks our first step towards direct desktop synchronization. We do have plans in the future to expand its capability. Right now, Appigo Sync gives you the ability to sync with iCal, which in turn can sync with MobileMe. This allows you to sync between multiple computers and devices. Appigo Sync also serves as a local back-up location for Todo. This is a very important feature to many of our users who do not want their data on a third-party service.
When Todo syncs with iCal all of the data is synced and preserved in iCal, it is just that some of it is not displayed. We hope this answers your question.
