Nice Update! I did have one suggestion regarding repeating events. In
some cases, I have events that repeat for a finite number of times. In
these cases, it would be nice to be able to set an "end date" for the
repeating event -- rather than have the event repeat indefinitely.
Perhaps the functionality is already present, but I'm just overlooking
it?

Google Calendar is an example of an application which does support end
dates for repeating events. They allow users to set a "repeat until"
date.
