I started using Appigo Sync and ToDo several weeks ago. Last week I started having problems with WiFi connectivity on my iPhone 3G. Still unresolved...I'm working with Apple on that.
Of course, with no WiFi I'm dead in the water for syncing ToDo with my iCal todos. This got me to thinking about how another pair of apps perform sync between Mac OS X and iPhone OS. Acrylic Software www.acrylicapps.com makes a pair of apps for Mac and iPhone called Wallet. It's a password safe. The interesting thing about this app and its companion is the method they use to sync between the two platforms. In a nutshell, they use MobileMe as the conduit rather than WiFi. A "Database.wallet" file is placed in the "Backup" folder of my iDisk. Since MobileMe data transfers can take place on either AT&T 3G (I'm in the USA) or on a WiFi connection, I have been able to continue to sync my Wallet while having WiFi troubles for the past week. What is the possibility of this type of sync feature being added to Appigo Sync/ToDo? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Learn more about Todo, Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Appigo Todo" group.
