Garfield,

Thanks for providing us with the additional information. We were unable to
reproduce the behavior you were describing with the steps you specified. In
our testing we tried the following variations:

Test #1
- Create a project without a due date assigned to it.
- Create between 3 to 5 sub tasks with due dates within the project.
- Assign only one of the sub tasks to have a due date that is overdue.
- Bring up the Focus List view with the following Todo Settings | Focus List
settings (*http://tinyurl.com/pef8zs)*.
- Go into the project and complete the only sub task with the overdue due
date.
- Go back to the Focus List view and observe the project's due date.

Result #1
- After completing the overdue sub task and going back to the Focus List,
the project's due date changed to reflect the next sub task with the
earliest due date specified

Test #2
- Create a project without a due date assigned to it.
- Create between 3 to 5 regular tasks with due dates.
- Assign only one of the regular tasks to have a due date that is overdue.
- Select each of the regular tasks and go into the Edit Task view and select
the "Actions... | Move into a Project" operation and move them into the
project.
- Bring up the Focus List view with the following Todo Settings | Focus List
settings (*http://tinyurl.com/pef8zs)*.
- Go into the project and complete the only sub task with the overdue due
date.
- Go back to the Focus List view and observe the project's due date.

Result #2
- After completing the overdue sub task and going back to the Focus List,
the project's due date changed to reflect the next sub task with the
earliest due date specified.

Test #3
- Create a project AND assign it with an overdue due date.

Result #3
- After completing the overdue sub task and going back to the Focus List,
the project's due date changed to reflect the project's own overdue due
date. So when going back into the project no sub tasks show up as overdue,
but the project is still overdue due to the project's own due date
assignment. NOTE: Reviewing your screen shots from your original post, this
does not look to be the case you are running into to.

Since we were unable to duplicate the issue and we would still like to get
to the bottom of this issue, could you please let us know a couple more
things about your setup?

- What Focus List settings do you have configured
- Does the incorrect due date for the project get corrected if you leave the
Focus List view and come back

If you can see any other differences between what you are doing and the
tests we ran, please let us know so we can get this issue duplicated and
resolved.

Thanks,

The Appigo Team
