Open the task you want to move. Scroll down to the bottom to the
Actions button. Tap it. The first action should be Move into a
Project. Tap the action and a list of your projects opens. Select a
project and you're done.

If you want to change anything about the task, such as due date,
repeat, etc. I suggest you change them before moving the task into the
project. If you have lots of tasks in the project, you may have to
search for the new task in order to edit it after the move.

Similarly, if you open/edit a task inside a project, tapping the
action button shows the action Move out of Project.
