I have several groups of tags, used for different purposes. It would be great if I could organize them into a hierarchy. You can add this by changing only one small part of Todo: the dialog that selects the tags on which to filter. You would add one setting, "tag separator string". If that option is empty, the tag selection dialog works as now. If the tag separator is set to, say, ":", then the list of tags such as
Person:Jim Person:Jane Concern:Finances Concern:Car is displayed using hierarchical menus: Person> Jim Jane Concern> Finances Car In each menu, the tags can be checked or unchecked as before. Adding a "Recreation" tag under the "Concern" screen would create a tag named "Concern:Recreation". This would make tags much more useful -- e.g. you could use one tag category for item status, another tag category for area of concern, etc -- and would not break anything, since for all other purposes each tag is still just a string. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Learn more about Todo (task management made simple), Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Appigo Todo" group.
