Garfield,

We've added your suggestion to an existing enhancement in our database for
potential inclusion in a future update. In the mean time, would these steps
help solve your specific scenario

- You have a repeating Gym task due Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- You miss, Monday. So instead of exporting and importing the task, you
could try
- Marking the repeating Gym task as complete. This will cause the next
instance of the task to be due for Wednesday instead of Monday.
- On the completed Monday Gym task change it back to uncompleted and change
it's due date from Monday to Tuesday.

The advantages to this workaround is that the task that is now created for
Tuesday has all of the tags, contexts, etc. However, this task does not have
the repeating flag so when you mark the Tuesday task as completed, you will
then be left with your regular repeating task for Wednesday and you can
continue on with your regular workflow process.
