Dave, did you ever get this to work?  I had the same problem...and I
finally solved it.  You have to turn your computer's firewall
completely off; then you should be able to connect the devices just
fine.  Once you do that, create a "new" entry on the Firewall Page (on
OS 10.4, it's System Preferences/Sharing/Firewall).  Under "Port
Name," Select Other.  In the field "TCP Port Number," type the port
that's listed in Appigo Sync Preferences/Advanced.  You can name it as
well - I used "Appigo Sync."  Then turn the firewall back on - it
should work fine.  Of note, if you keep Appigo System Preferences/
Advanced on a dynamic port setting, you'll probably have to edit that
port in Mac System Preferences each time you reboot.  Or you could
change it to a static port, but I'd consider that less secure.
