Thanks for contacting the group. While Todo lists are mapped to specific
iCal calendars, the iCal UI is unaware of the notion of projects or
checklists. So when viewing projects, checklists or subtasks in iCal; they
appear in a flat hierarchy as normal tasks in iCal. However, the projects,
checklists or subtasks will sync and maintain their {project, checklist} /
subtask relationships and hierarchy just fine with Todo.
While administering projects, checklists and subtasks via the iCal interface
can be less then ideal because of some of these limitations, we are actively
looking at various ways to improve this process for our customers that use
their desktop as their preferred task entry system.
