Thanks for the reply. FYI, the icon issue appeared subsequent to a hard restart, a frequently recommended troubleshooting suggestion, and, of the 50+ applications I've downloaded from iTunes, Todo is the only application to demonstrate this issue.
After looking at the advice in the thread, I tested resetting the home screen layout. This did not help. Uninstalling and reinstalling Todo did correct the problem. Hopefully this info will be of help to someone else.
