Am I the only one who has been surprised when old iCal tasks have overwritten new ToDo tasks? The first time it happened I assumed it was a bug. The second time I lost a week's worth of task updates. Digging into this user group I learned that Appigo Sync is designed to behave this way, which makes little sense to me. First, I use ToDo for virtually all of my to-do list updates; iCal is only a back-up (and offers neither the features nor easy-to-use interface nor the portability that ToDo does). Second, I assumed that the newest entry would update the older update, irregardless of which app (ToDo or iCal) it came from--isn't this the way most syncs work? (Yes.) Third, I can not remember reading anywhere that this is the default (and only) option. (If I missed it, my bad; where was it?) Which leads to fourth, if this is the default behavior, how about a notice that this is what is going to happen before it executes, or better yet, how about a user-chosen preference of which entry overwrites the other?
Until this is fixed, I am limited to using ToDo without back-up. How are others dealing with this?
