Todo tip: The recently released version of Good Reader app ( http://tinyurl.com/kmw4ko , $1 ) can be used to attach files to tasks. Put a file into Good Reader, selection Actions, select the file, select Link -- this will copy a special URL to the clipboard, which when opened will open the file. Then in Todo create a task with type URL, and paste the URL from the clipboard. Opening the URL will launch Good Reader and open the file.
