Google hasn't released the API which would enable third-party apps like ToDo to sync with Google Task. Star this issue @ http://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=987 (don't leave comments, as the comments will be deleted) to alert Google that you want this so the Appigo gang can get on it.
As an aside, while we're waiting for some movement on the Google front, Appigo could employ a work-around by having MobileMe or Dropbox host a file that could in turn sync to both iCal/Desktop Appigo Sync and the iPhone ToDo app. As it is, it's very irritating to have to go through an elaborate "dance" routine, just to get everything to sync correctly. Too many steps considering that I already have to ensure that wifi is turned on on my iPhone, that my laptop is open, that the app is open, etc. Opening the app with the aforementioned setup would mean that the data is automatically synced with any changes you've made on the desktop (or vice versa). I love the layout of ToDo and iCal, which is why I haven't abandoned either yet in favor of exclusively using Google Tasks (which is accessible on the web). An elevation of beauty over convenience.
