the issue you have encountered.

Could you please send us the following information:

   - Diagnostics Report (Todo > Settings > Information > Diagnostics >
   Diagnostics Report > scroll to the bottom and tap 'Email Diagnostics
   Report')
   - A detailed description of how you are creating your tasks in iCal (Due
   dates, alarms, etc)

In regards of your second point, events are not tasks so they will not be
synced with Todo.
