I have encoutered a possible bug with the 'New task defaults' settings. I have mine set to 'inbox'. This seems to occur when I have been active within one of my lists, for example my 'work' list. When I then return to my main 'list' screen and create a new task using the '+' key, then rather than defaulting to my 'inbox' the new task is set to my work list.
