I can see your point - it looks like you're asking almost for saved filters which is not a bad idea but I would prefer to have a "Filtered" button on the main screen i.e. have ToDo remember ONE filtered view, no more than that because then it starts to muck up the UI. The way it is currently if you're on the main screen already, if you touch the @ then the context you want, you're immediately returned to the main screen, touch ALL and you're done. In total this is 3 touches instead of one , so two "extra" touches which is not bad at all. - I use this a lot. I actually like the way it's currently handled because I can see how many of my Tasks in each list have that context or tag and may only want to see the results on one list, not ALL but regardless, some implementation of saved filters may not be a bad idea as long as the UI is not impacted.
