Some positive feedback for a change. I had a host of problems with the prior version of ToDo and the prior version of Sync for Win. Absolute disaster - duplicated tasks, tasks not transferring into Outlook, properties missing, almost made we want to drop ToDo all together. ToodleDo was a passable substitute, but it really interrupted my flow - I like having just two repositories for my information - Outlook and my iPhone.
With the release of v3.4.2 and the updated Sync for Win (v0.99 Build 5288), I figured I would give it a try - it couldn't be worse than the prior implementation. Thankfully everything is working. I can transfer my tasks back and forth, new categories are showing up in Outlook, tasks created in Outlook are showing up in ToDo. It is finally working the way I always expected it to. Some additional features sure would be nice, though. The two huge ones for me are: 1) Being able to tag a task as Not Started, In Progress, Completed, Waiting on Someone Else or Deferred (the standard Status data). Very handy to know what I haven't started on yet. I have a workaround - I created new categories of 0 - Not Started, 1 - In Progress, 99 - Completed, 90 - Waiting, etc, but it duplicates other information. 2) Being able to update % Complete would also be very handy. In talking to others, not a lot of people use it, but I do. It helps with my prioritization.
