Here's some more info. Sometimes after a sync, I notice my laptop's fans spin up. I just had it happen, so I checked Activity Monitor to see what was eating CPU. Here's what just happened:
- I had completed some tasks on the laptop, so I decided to sync. - Forced a MobileMe sync and allowed it to complete. - Opened the iPhone app and pressed the sync button. Got the sync message, but nothing changed on the phone. Pressed the button again and the info updated. - Noticed my fans spin up. Checked Activity Monitor to find the DashboardClient process taking up between 85% and 97% of CPU. - After several minutes, fans quieted and DashboardClient back to 0 to 0.2 CPU.
