I've been a long time user of Todo on the iPhone. I picked up Todo for iPad not so much as a task list, but because it was so much easier to edit and enter text. Besides, if I'm in the Living Room with my iPad and my iPhone's in the bedroom, well, you know, can't be without the essentials :-)
Because I'm using both I'm very sensitive to interface inconsistencies between the two. I understand that there are different user interface guidelines between the iPhone and the iPad, however, I'm suggesting that buttons be in the same position as much as possible. I've only noticed two significant differences. The Search icon in the iPhone version is on the bottom, along with the other "action" and "selection" buttons. In the iPad version, it's on the top left corner, all by its lonesome. The first time I looked for it, it was so automatic to look on the bottom row that I thought it had been left out. I know that the Lists button isn't needed in the upper left corner, but you didn't have to fill it. The Edit button for Lists is on the bottom on the iPad and on the top on the iPhone. Likewise, the Done button is at the bottom on the ipad and the top on the iPhone. Tapping the Edit, the iPhone has a plus sign on the top left to add a new list, while the iPad has a + New List entry to add a new list. Personally I prefer the iPad version, but I'm sure many iPhone users are used to the + at the top. Sure these are picky, but what else do I have to complain about ;-) Bob -- Learn more about Todo (task management made simple), Corkulous (collect, organize, and share your ideas), Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Appigo Todo" group.
