Hello,

I notice that a lot of the threads requesting snooze have received a
response saying that Apple has not made this feature available. I can
appreciate that, but in my opinion, using the snooze feature built
into the iPhone/iPad would be the worst possible way to implement it.

If you'll check out the Satchel app (https://www.standalone.com/iphone/
satchel/) you will see an implementation of the snooze feature that
works brilliantly. What they've done is to build a snooze into the
interface that is pulled up in their app if you choose to respond to
the notification immediately. So the notification pops up, you slide
to view, the iPhone pulls up Satchel, Satchel shows the item you were
being notified about, and there is a snooze button in the interface
there. This is a much better solution that going through the built-in
iPhone snooze anyway, if that were possible, because this way you are
not restricted to a 9 minute interval, or whatever other limitation
they might impose. Clicking snooze on the item in Satchel pulls up an
interface that lets you snooze the item for hours, a full day, or a
custom time period, etc. It's really handy.

I'm not sure if you had thought about doing it this way, but it would
be wonderful to have this sort of mechanism in Todo for iPhone and
iPad. Just a quick-access mechanism that is built into the interface
that comes up in Tod when a notification is immediately responded to,
for re-scheduling by 15-minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 1day... with the
push a button or two, with the ability to do a custom reschedule if
necessary.

Thanks for listening.

~Joey
