I'm test driving Online. It's pretty good considering it's still "beta." I
would note a few things that don't quite seem right yet.
I note that my Focus List settings are:
- show tasks w no due date: off
- show starred: on
- show subtasks: on
Here's what I've noticed.
1. I have list colours on, but not all tasks seem to show the list
colours. I've not noticed any pattern to whether or not the colour is
shown. But it seems related to tasks that are in a project within a list.
Tasks in a list show up with the list's colour. Projects in a list show up
with the list's colour. But tasks in projects do not get the list's colour.
This isn't consistent with what I see in the iPhone app.
2. In the iPhone, the Focus List shows only tasks and NOT the projects or
checklists that contain those tasks. This is exactly how I expected and
want it to work.
Sometimes, in the iPhone, the checklist/project of a task WILL show up,
but that only happens *sometimes*, and just after I check of a given
task. I suspect this is just a minor bug in the iPhone.
However, in Online, the checklist/project is *always* displayed.
Again, this is inconsistent with the iPhone app.
3. In Online, Focus List includes tasks due tomorrow, even though I set
the Focus List settings to show only tasks due today.
IE: I have "hide tasks due after" set to "today."
4. I can't change the defaults for new tasks.
I have noticed that syncing my iPhone with Online is much faster than
syncing with Toodledo, so I'm leaning strongly towards sticking with Online.
