I'm trying to get a feel as to whether others are seeing this. I use Todo a lot on both my iPhone 3GS and iPad. Fairly frequently, when I go to Todo on the iPad it will restart rather then picking up where it left off. That is, I will see the Todo logo and it takes a few seconds to display tasks. I have never seen this happen on the iPhone (I don't think).
There are no crashes involved here. Looking at logs on my Mac, there are always quite a few low memory logs for both the iPad and iPhone. I'm guessing this is a normal occurrence. With only 256Mb of RAM, once you crank up a lot of apps iOS will constantly have to force quit apps to make room for new ones or ones that need more memory. I can see from these logs that every now and then Todo will have (jettisoned) next to it, which I suppose means Todo has been force quit. The question is, why does this seem to happen fairly frequently on the iPad but not on the iPhone? From the logs, I can see that the iPad version of Todo does use about twice the RAM as the iPhone version, so maybe this has something to do with it. I've been to support about this issue, but there really doesn't seem to be anything wrong with Todo itself. I'd be very interested to hear if others are seeing this, or whether it's just me (or the particular mix of apps I use).
