Hi Everyone Desktop PC: Windows XP SP3 Appigo ToDo v 4.2.1 on iPod Touch 3rd Gen v 4.xx Appigo Sync for Windows v 1.2.0 Build 7222
I was getting the above error every time I shut down my computer. After researching on the Web for ages, I discovered that 1) a component of Nero could cause the problem 2) MS Communicator 5 could cause the problem 3) something running in the background, searching. I don't have Nero or Communicator so I started turning off/disabling items from my System Task Bar, one at a time. Finally, when I "Quit Appigo Sync", I was able to shut down without the error message. So for the last couple of weeks I've been experimenting: disable Sync or don't disable Sync. It seems that every time I do disable Appigo Sync I'm fine. Don't know if Appigo Sync is causing this problem or whether it's just a coincidence, but, if anyone else is experiencing the WMS Idle Not Responding error, try disabling Appigo Sync before shutdown and see what happens. I am curious though to find out if anyone else has been having this problem, or if it's just something to do with my setup.
