I have an iPhone 3G. I purchased and am running the latest version of
ToDo. I am also test driving ToDo Online and ToDo for Mac desktop.
My issue is -- I am not receiving push alerts on my iPhone. The
alerts appear in Growl on my MacBook -- but without the associated
alarm sound. I am not receiving the alerts on my iPhone at all.

I already checked the Appigo support pages and understand that
localized alerts are not possible on my phone as I am not running IOS
4 -- due to it's sluggishness on the iPhone 3G. I am running IOS
3.1.3 which is supported according to the website. As suggested by
the support pages, I have registered the product and my email address
([email protected]). Even after reregistering, I am still
not getting the push alerts. I have run numerous tests in an area of
my home where my phone has both a strong wifi connection and 3G data
connection. All other internet related functions on the phone operate
during these tests. Push alerts are working for other applications on
the phone: facebook, Pageonce just to name a few. My phone is not
jailbroken.

I have used ToDo in conjunction with iCal for some time and iCal
alerts worked fine. I was excited to use ToDo with a cloud service
(ToDo online) and a desktop program. This would mean near
instantaneous updating of ToDo and that I would no longer need to sync
my phone manually (the soon to be defunct mobileme no longer syncs
iCal as I do not have IOS 4) -- however the lack of alerts concerns
me. I depend on them.

As a workaround, it does not appear that I can run both the ToDo
Online cloud service and appigo sync for iCal. Or am I wrong? But
again, this means I will have to hook my iPhone to my MacBook and sync
to get the alerts.

Any suggestions will be graciously accepted.

Robert
