As harvest winds down, maybe the discussion list will get more traffic.

I have a « off season » topic I’d like to tackle: sprayers and spraying in
general.

How many of you use « low » volume (<200 L/ha or <20 gals per acre)?

How many of you operate the fan at <540 rpm, and how low do you go?

My impression is that Europeans are much more into « efficient » spraying (fast
driving, low water volume, low air speed) than Americans. Is this true? And if
so why?

For the last 3 years I’ve been « harassing » my growers about this. Many
benefits = less refills, quicker job, much less fuel, much quieter, increased
deposits on leaves (so lower rate), less drift, etc.

Thoughts?

Hello all,
I am still here (don't groan please) and am happy to give it a go.
There might be life in the old list yet, though perhaps some new members are
needed? How would a young grower or stakeholder know that we are here?

I quit my Facebook account a year ago. I think it has a number of security
liabilities I want nothing to do with. These mailgroup lists may be "quaint",
but they seem to still work well when folks don't abandon them.

This group, like most, seems to have fallen to the power of Facebook. It's too
bad, because Facebook is unorganized and unsearchable. But that's where most
chatter that used to be sent via email seems to have migrated.

Has this group bit the dust, haven't noticed any activity for a while. Any
recommendations of good sites or pages to spy on? Clandestinely stirring the
