We have most of them (no apples though) framed and hanging in our
Department hallway. They have not faded in the artificially lighted
hallways after 4-5 years. However, there are some surprising "errors"
in the scientific names for some fruits especially on the periodic
table. (e.g., a picture of a "black" cherry is labelled Prunus
serotina which is a forest tree black cherry and not Prunus avium which
we eat.) The picture is of a P. avium cherry BTW. There are more
examples of this on this table and for the stone fruits chart but
unless you are an academic it probably does not matter. They are
colorful and attract people's interest.

Hello George:
Thanks for alerting us to the poster website. These are interesting
prints
but rather fuzzy in quality -
maybe not printed on register(?). Do you know if they are of archival
quality - non-acid paper, and
printed with dyes which are light-fast? Does anyone have one of these
who
can assess them from a
technical perspective?

Hi All:
I found a place that sells apple posters. They would make great
Christmas gifts for your best orchardist buddy.
