Adding Value - Wine-Making and On Farm Winery Workshops We will be holding 2 days of workshops on wine-making and the basics of starting an on-farm winery. The April 20th session is on basic wine-making. The April 21st session will cover costs and procedures for setting up a winery, followed by demonstrations of laboratory techniques used to evaluate wines during production. Wine-making from grapes and other fruit like apples, pears and berries will be considered. These session will be geared to people with little or no wine-making experience, specifically commercial fruit growers who would like to consider making and selling wine from their fruit. This course is not for homeowners or hobbyists.
