About a day before my next watering cycle I notice that some of the young
apples are a little spongy. The leaves remain perky. Then the day after
irrigating the fruit is rock hard again. Is that normal or insufficient
water? This doesn't seem to be a concern for tree health, but is this going to
affect the quality of the fruit?
