Hello,
Our magazine is sponsoring a two day event for commercial, migratory
pollinators. This business is getting tougher every year and we want to
accomplish two things...make it easier for those in the business now, and get
ahead of the curve by giving the next generation a look at what this business
is about. Almonds, of course are the big crop, but Apples, nearly everywhere
are an important part of this business. From the list, who would be a good
spokesperson to identify the needs of the apple industry, now, and into the
future so these beekeepers 1. Have a contact, and 2. Can look at the timing,
equipment and such to be the best they can be for your crop. I know the
business is changing...do your beekeepers know, and more importantly, what will
be the future for them, and for your orchards. If you have someone in mind or
thoughts on this, you can contact me directly at
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>, or to the list, as I have been
on it for several years. Thank you in advance.
