It was an early HD for the Apple 2 which installed inside my IIe by
replacing the IIe's power supply. The Vulcan package was a HD (mine was
20 mg), a heavier duty power supply and a built in fan. It also has a
controller card which I installed in slot 7 so the HD would be my boot 
drive. This Vulcan (made by Applied Engineering) replaced a 10 mg Sider
HD which was so large I put mine on the floor. I think I remember the
Vulcan was several hundred dollars cheaper than the Sider.
