Dr. Stephen Buggie was working on replacing the battery once upon at time.  I 
have enough to play with with a little power left in each one.  Why can't we 
simply patch into the leads of the mini batteries on the chip with a hearing 
aid battery?  It may only last for six month, instead of ten years, but the 
chips would be useable once more.  The manufacturer had the schematics on 
their website about seven years ago--anyone have them tucked away in a folder?
