The original poster sent me a email afterwords, they used AW1.1, 1.3 Now for that original poster...
I have a Mac LC475 (with a IIe emulator card in it), if your IIC and iMac DOESN'T have a 3.5" drive each, you can make me a copy of the floppies and mail them to me, and I will convert. If both computers do have a 3.5" drive (I'm not sure if the iMacs will support 800k diskettes), then you can "print" the files to ASCII. (oa-p, ASCII (don't select your printer)), then choose a unique filename, choose the tab de-limited option. Save the file to the 3.5" disk, then open up your word processor program on your iMac (called ClarisWorks prior to version 5.0, 6.0 was renamed AppleWorks, which is NOT the same program, grrr.), then "open" your ASCII file. If you don't have the IIc anymore, or you don't have the 3.5" drives, send me a copy (keep the original, just in case), I will be happy to convert it for you, and email it to you as a attachment. Please be a tad bit patient with me, I have converted peoples AppleWorks diskettes in the past, but right now I need to replace the battery in the Mac Also, if your iMac supports it, I would highly reccomend d/l a copy of Deja ][ (runs on any OS, not sure of X, though, but I use mine on 9.2.2). this is your actual AppleWorks program.
