While those advantages are true and good (and I may eventually go that
route), for now I have the SCSI peripherals I mentioned (external 1.2GB
HD, Apple CD300e CDROM drive, and Zip 100 SCSI drive) which I want to use
- and that require a SCSI card to connect to my IIgs (or IIe). I have
already partitioned off the 1.2GB drive for HFS and ProDOS volumes, and
have info on using the Zip drive. I could then convert my disk images
from my PowerBook and burn them onto a CD for transfer to the hard drive
on the IIgs (once I have the SCSI card to connect it).

But thanks for pointing out that option!
