are very usefull when you have a processor capable of executing more
than a billion instructions per second. I'll have to strip all but the
essential and remember all the code optimization tricks to create an
user interface that can be usable running in a BASIC interpreter with
a 0.20 MIPs processor (I do like to write the main program in a high
level language, and only some speed-critical routines in assembler).
It really will be a fun task.
I'll keep you informed on what's going on with that project.
