As you guessed, on a regular //c, hooking up a duodisk drive will let the first drive work as S6D2. On a //c+, you can use both drives.
Obviously, you can't daisy-chain anything after a duodisk.

Talking about //c's external drive port - would a DuoDisk work attached to it? I don't expect it to use both drives, but I think that at least it should recognize the first one and use it as the external drive. Can you damage the //c's IWM and/or the DuoDisk a/b by trying that, or is it sure? Has anyone tried it?
