I thought I was replying to the list, oops, only David

David, I hope you don't mind, I'm forwarding my reply to the list too
As I said "I am trying to get conversation started".

Anyone use any of the emulators? I have an actual IIc+, but most of the
time I do stuff emulated, since the IIC+ is usually packed in a box,
not enough room to have it out all the time.

I have emulators for both my iBook under OSX and for my Windows PC.
(Is there a good AppleII emulator that runs under Linux?)

ron.

Hi, David!

I am mostly trying to get conversation going on the list..

I have an Apple IIc+ and I do Basic programming under ProDos.

My favorite kind of programming is little simulations, One of these is
based on what a KGO talkshow host said: "Your chances of winning the
lottery are about the same as flipping a coin and getting a run of
heads or tail 25 long".

I also write my own version of star trek, over and over, "Seeking Perfection"

Hiya!

And Hi to Fabian too!

Are you planning to Attend Kansas Fest next year? Have you been to them
before? (I can't belive I lived so close and missed it, I probably even
drove by the place the day it was being held!)

Are there any good AppleII resources in the area?
Meetings?

Do either of you still use your appleII's?

Ah, now I see.

I've never been to Kansas Fest, but then I'm just getting back into Apple IIs after being away for 20 years. Sounds like fun, though. I'm hoping Jeri Ellsworth will have some news on her AnyCard, or perhaps an Apple //e on a chip like she did with the Commodore 64.

I know about her "commodore 1" but what is an "AnyCard"?

Don't know much about meetings, but there's no reason we couldn't start something.

I'm planning to use my //e to do some fun programming. I'd like to get one of the Compact Flash drives and then build a real-time clock for time/date stamping files under ProDOS. For a geek like me, that sounds like fun.
