Hi all

I just bought an Apple IIe, a couple of disk drives and a green
phosphor Hantarex monitor, really quite chuffed although it hasn't
arrived yet!

Always wanted one after first playing a friend's Infocom adventures in
the early 80s, but they were so expensive in the UK it was
prohibitive. Now I've got a small child I want him to play these games
in the way they were intended to be played.

So, I find myself in the UK with a machine and no software (no DOS
diskettes, even) and at the whim of eBay which doesn't seem to offer
me very much apart from the odd game. Then I came across your list.
I've scanned the FAQs and netiquette, and I hope I'm not breaking any
rules - but is there someone who could help me locate some disks even
to test the beast when it arrives?

Even better, if you know of someone in the UK who might help, please
let me know.

Nice to meet you!

Cheers,
andy (London, England)
