Depends on what application you're using to print from. A ProDOS app like AppleWorks, and the answer is probably no. From a GS/OS you might have some luck.

AppleWorks for example, sends esc characters to the printer expecting the printer to know how to interpret them--these printers (dot-matrix, laser) have built-in ROMS to handle the printing job. Most ink jet printers expect to get the same info from the computer. (similar to the wintel modem problem a lot of us have had over the years.) Since ProDOS doesn't know how to send this info, most deskjets won't work. There are some GS/OS drivers that will (forget which models off the top of my head) but only for GS/OS native programs.
