I have a Zip 250 drive and a CD-ROM drive connected to an Apple SCSI card
revision "C" card in a ROM 01 IIgs. The CD-ROM drive is at the end of the
chain and has a terminator on it. The IIgs will NOT boot if the CD-ROM drive
is NOT powered up and if there's not a CD-ROM in the drive.
I've been meaning to respond to this message ever since it was posted. Just
never got around to it. It took the moving of the list to Google groups to
motivate me.
