I just tried again on my Ubuntu install and everything works. There may
be pieces of the older packages laying around. Can you remove the
lispbuilder directories from:
/var/cache/common-lisp-controller/1000/sbcl/local/home/<your_login>.sbcl/site/
As well as from:
/home/dto/.sbcl/site/
What version of SBCL are you using?
