For those of you who don't follow the ECL list, it sounds like ECL support for Windows may be improving.
According to http://article.gmane.org/gmane.lisp.ecl.general/5430/ the MinGW port builds again. But not with threads: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.lisp.ecl.general/5431/ Also, there has been some recent discussion regarding ECL's CFFI support, and ECL now has the option of building its ffi with libffi. http://article.gmane.org/gmane.lisp.ecl.general/5437/ http://article.gmane.org/gmane.lisp.ecl.general/5445/ That said, I haven't tried these changes myself, and it's not clear that the ffi has completely stabilized yet. -- Elliott Slaughter "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do.
