I suggest to hold emacs-snapshot when you don't like to update it: - aptitude hold emacs-snapshot - aptitude full-upgrade and unhold when you fill in the need of an upgrade: - aptitude unhold emacs-snapshot - aptitude full-ugrade If there are better solution I'm willing to know so keep me updated.
