Done for the weekend. I think I've solved the worst memory problems. Memory usage is still a bit higher than I'd like, but it's no longer catastrophically bad. Next thing, I think, is figuring out why the resolver is so slow, probably by running a profiler over it. And of course there are still some bugs left that need to be dealt with.
